This is last Thursday the 17th of April
Bike Riding and getting Ice Cream...

And this is how much it snowed the next day....

And this is trying to get a picture with the snow falling... but it didn't really turn out. BUT it DID NOT stop snowing the WHOLE day!!!! There was so much snow! And there still is!!

I would also like to point out that the Thursday before that, I woke up and it was dry outside...... 5 min before I left for school at 730am it started snowing.. Well.. it took me 2 hours to get to school because it snowed so much so fast, missed my whole class.... AND THEN... the next Sunday, I walked home from church because it was 22 degrees Celsius and not a spec of snow... :)

Well I am almost done another semester.... 3 more exams left! I need to study hard for them. But it has been a while since I blogged so I thought I would post whats new with me, which isnt much, but its been so long that I have a greater span of time to work with :)
Recently Me and Jordan went on a road trip down to conference!! Its always fun. We had tickets to the Saturday Morning Session. Jordan forgot the tickets on his dresser though, but a faxed copy of the tickets go us in! Thank Goodness!!! It was a great session. Neat to be there for the Solemn Assembly and such. We mostly spent time with his family down there. We also went to this place called "Jump on It" in Orem. Its pretty neat, there are trampolines all around this big building and on the side of the walls. Its a lot of fun, and tiring. It was a really fun trip. The Ride home was pretty fun too.. And of course I got no sleep the whole weekend which resulted in my being sick a few days after... but its worth it!!

HAHA this is me sticking my head out the sunroof on the highway.. What an experience!

Also, I know this was a long time ago.. BUT its significant for me.
I went snowboarding! Its kinda a big deal :) for me... with my arthritis and all... We just went for a half day up at sunshine and it was good. My knees were kinda sore at the end, but nothing big :)

The Big 20

So this is 2 weeks late... but i had my 20th birthday on the 13th of January.. it was good times. Since it was on a Sunday I went out on Saturday night too. I went out for dinner with Jordan and then we went to the observation deck of the Calgary tower, and then we went and took some funny pictures downtown to till time before we went and sat the movie "The Bucket List". Good movie, it brought tears to my eyes......

I will also say, it is kinda weird to be 20... its always seemed so old to me... Im growing up!!! time goes by so fast!! Not sure if its too fast or not....

HAha... this one looks kinda awkward... but they all kinda are...

Ok well on Sunday, we had a family dinner, and played games afterwards... i love playing games.. it was good fun. And my mom made my favorite cake ever. Chocolate Cheesecake, with pretty much no sugar. DIVINE :)

Good old Stephen... He is leaving our house on Friday... It will be sad. We like having him around.

Christmas Break!

This break was pretty good! I loved having time off so just relax and see family, it was great!
My and my sisters went out for a girl night to the movie Enchanted... it was pretty good.. but everyone talked it up i thought it would be better, but it was still really great!

Next was Christmas itself! For years our family has been going to the Fibkes home on Christmas Eve, I look forward to it every year, so that was a lot of fun, there is always such good food, and great company!

On Christmas day, me and my dad went to serve the homeless a Christmas dinner. I havent dont it for the past 2 years, but my dad has been going for probably 12 years. So its become a tradition. It was really good.

Jordan and I went to the Zoo lights on new years day, it was pretty sweet, we happened to find the Tree of Life too, which was kinda funny!

AND.... My mom and my sisters went down for Clints wedding in Utah. It was a sweet trip. We were originally going to go down on Thursday, but i read on the internet somewhere that they have the temple square lights up until January 2. So we qucikly made arrangements and left that night! A day early... and when we got there we found out that they were not up that long, so too bad... but it ended up being good that we went early because we hardly had enough time to do everything we wanted to do! So we just did some shopping and some good old family time. All the Aunts were there, so it was really exciting because that doesnt happen all the time, and i LOVE all of my Aunts. They are a hoot, i just love being around them. We had a family night one night and did some karaoke, it was really fun. Also the wedding was great, everything was beautiful!!!

It was so much fun to see everyone!! I love all my cousins.

Also my friend Mirielle went down to BYU so i got to see her one last time!! She had tickets to a BYU basketball game so we got to go to that, it was really fun, BYU won, by a lot, so it was kinda slow in that sense but fun to be there anyway! :)

And now its all over and school started again today!

Ok i got tagged over a month ago... but i never think of this anymore. its terrible
Also, i dont have that many bloggers and i believe all the people i know have already been tagged.. if your reading this and you havent been tagged then do it! haha

Ok 6 things about myself...

1. I procrastinate a lot! iv noticed that being in school again. Right now i am avoiding studying. This is the very time that i shouldn't have time for blogging... and here i am.... :)
2. I need a lot of sleep, and i love it soooooooooooooooo much! I absolutely love it!
3.I really enjoy reading, but also find it hard to find time for it.
4.I really like healthy stuff, but also find it hard to follow sometimes because I LOVE sugar.
5.I hate the cold.. but im trying to embrace it this winter and maybe it wont seem as bad...
6.I don't know what i want. Im a mind changer....;)

And here is my beautiful familia minus my beautiful mother who is taking the picture. Stephen has also been living with us since February minus the summer, and its great having him around. He will go back to France to finish his last semester in France, we will really miss him. It's nice having him around, because he is so kind and calm haha compared to the other kiddos! Jokes... my siblings are great too!

And.... Again this year I was able to participate in the Handels Messiah Choir again for my 4th time i believe. I absolutely LOVE it.
This is my amazing friend Mirielle and I before a performance one night. I got jipped on a tie this year.... it was super short and looked like a real bow tie when i tied it in a bow. HIlariOUS! :)

And i would also like to state that my health is going excellent. Things are looking up, i am truly blessed! Thanks for everyones prayers this past year and a bit. :)

Busy Busy, but Fun Fun

Just about 2 weeks ago my friend Tom took me to the Brad Paisley concert, and Taylor Swift opened. It was AMAZING!!! I forgot how good concerts are. Especially since it was at the saddledome i was thinking it would be kinda far away and impersonal but there was so much energy it was amazing. Taylor Swift is so cute and cool, I just loved her. It was Kari actually that introduced me to her... with the picture to burn song! :) so good... Anyway I was a lucky girl to be able to go!

Next there was halloween... There were a few ysa type partys that weekend, so I kinda dressed up. It was so last minute tho! i ended up being dorothy one night, same costume as last year, and then a bumblebee the next night, and i ended up taking off my wings so i looked like i didnt dress up... but thats ok! haha good times were had.

And this last weekend was the all famous PREFERENCE. Its a girls choice dance... so i had to ask someone to go! haha I asked my friend Jeff Spackman. You normally plan a fun date beforehand and then make it to the dance later on. It was gonna be super cool, we were going to go to these dance lessons that they have for cheap here, ballroom stuff.. and then do dinner and dessert but we got started too late, so it never happened, but im definately still doing that in the future! But we just had dinner and met up with more people for dessert then made it to the dance. And after the dance we ended up going back to my friends place and played a bunch of games. It was actually the funnest weirdest night i have had in a long time! I think being super tired at the end made everything so much funnier and it was a blast!

To top it all off I am so busy with school!! Im looking forward to it all being done for a while!

Summer and Fall 2007

Ok, yes its been a while... but i am still here kicking around.. haha
We had some problems with our computers and i didnt have some of my files for a while and such, and then i couldnt load pictures. So thats my excuse.. but i have my own computer now! And i have all my pictures back on.. so im set and ready to blog!
I was planning on doing a blog of my summer.. but that was like in september, but i will still do it haha... back track a bit :)

Alrighty... so during the august long weekend our family went to Lake Blaine! I hadnt been there in 3 years i think, so it was really fun to go back. We got in some jet skiing and kayaking and such, it was great fun. It was sad Laura couldnt be there because she was too pregnant at the time to be out of the country.

So i believe Nikki got up wakeboarding on her second or third try and was just a natural pro. She went forever! haha it was sweet. Dad and I however had some trouble at first, but when we tried the next day, we were able to figure it out!! It was pretty fun. I was proud of myself and actually surprised that I could do it seeing as my joints have not been the best this last year! It was great.

During the Labour day weekend, i went to Waterton with Jordan and his family. We had a good time there. We hiked Bears Hump, which i have never done before, and I did quite well I might add:)

Josh Taylor also gave us his tickets for the Labour Day classic Football game, with calgary and edmonton..I didnt take any pictures though but it was a really fun time.

I started school at Mount Royal college. Its pretty good I actually enjoy it alot. Im just doing General Studies right now and hopefully i will figure out what i want to do soon.

And of course we all know Laura had her beautiful baby Heidi!

And Gereral Conference was this last weekend. I was able to get a ride down to Rexburg with Carla and Cam and meet jordan there. Then we drove down to utah and spent some time with his sister who lives down there. We went to Temple square on the sunday but didnt try to hard to get into a session, so we ended up watching conference in the tabernacle, which was really cool too!

Anyways... thats about it!! :)

Well its been a while, so heres the update on whats been going on in my life. I traveled down to Utah with my mom and nikki and three of my aunts.. kristy, carla and Linda. It was great fun i love spending time with my aunts. We went down for Clarks homecoming which was great it was good to see him and get to know him better. It was just a really fun weekend.. lots of good shopping! :)]

Joe came home from his mission on the 20th. That was pretty crazy, me and mike went along and met him at the airport with his family. It was good to see him and catch up.

Codys farewell was on the 24th and our family went up for that. It was so fun i just love my cousins so much. Cody is going to be such a good missionary!

Playing in the Rain!!

So today it started pouring rain. And i have been waiting for the day to go run outside and jump on the trampoline and today was perfect! It was warm earlier today so it wasnt that cold of rain and there was lightening and thunder! It was amazing.. so me and nikki went on the tramp and ran around the block puddle jumping and just got soaked!! :)

Also today was my first day back at superstore and it went well. I remembered everything and I wasn't too tired at the end. So im really happy that I can work! And make some moola!! I work again tomorrow then we are off to utah for Clarks homecoming, so im excited for that roadtrip. So things are good. And 2 weeks tomorrow until Joe comes home!!! Its unbelievable, I never thought that day would come...

Well there are leaves on the trees, and a bird warming her eggs in a nest outside my house...AND... snow on the ground. Why those things are all combined into one day on May 24th, I have no idea!!!! I think i need to learn to embrace this unpredictable weather and this cold country that I live in instead of always wanting to get away from it. Because like it or not, im gonna be here for a while... so I may as well start enjoying it... :)

Life Lately..

So finally my computer is cooperating!... I think

Two weeks ago I went to the Zoo!! Adam was leaving to go selling in Ohio for the summer and then hes gonna be at BYU Idaho in the fall, so we had some last minute Adam and Cherisa time. I was glad. It was super fun, the animals were sweet. Normally I am not a huge fan of the zoo, but going with a friend always makes it better. Plus I saw some pretty sweet stuff that I dont remember seeing at the zoo normally.

And last but not least. I dyed my hair purple :) You cant really notice if i wear my hair down normally.. but its just kinda for fun. A really random decision when I was having my friend Christine cut my hair.

An Update..

Well I had another opportunity to go to the Flames game this week! It was awesome because it was a Playoff game!!! I loved it! But right now I am rather dissapointed in the Flames, becuase we are now outa the playoffs. But nonetheless the game was still flippen awesome! Theo's hair was hilarious too! You can see in the picture.

I went on a sweet date a week or two ago. We dressed up 80's and went to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and went to Boston Pizza after... it was super fun.. I love dressing up!

Broken Plate

So yesterday me and Christina went to the Broken Plate in Ranchlands for lunch. I was fairly dissappointed because it was so tiny!!!!!!!!!!! Not the place to get pasta thats forsure. It was 12$ and it said it came with bread and fresh fruit and feta cheese.... It sure did. There were 4 grapes... a slice of plain french bread... tiny!! And the bowl of pasta was just as small! I couldn't believe my eyes.. it was ridiculus! I recall going to Joey's a few weeks ago and also ordered pasta for the same price and it was a little bigger. At the time I thought it was small.. but not compared to this! Earls is the place to get Alfredo because I actually coudln't finish it last time I got it there. And they are all the same price. But anyway. I thought I would rant about how mad and dissapointed I am at the Broken Plate!!! Dont go there for pasta....

New Shoes!!

Well....I had quite the weekend... Since Wednesday I have been partying every night. Its been super fun! But Friday and Saturday I go to go to some sweet dance partys. Heres some pics from the Friday night one... We ended up going to Dennys and staying there all hours of the night. I won't say how long just in case my mom reads this haha :)

Now this is the good part......The funny thing about the party on Saturday was that someone stole my shoes!!! We had to go park my car somewhere else part way through, and my shoes were no where to be found! However, there were a newer version of my shoes.. so i took those thinking maybe the owner of those ones took mine..... But even at the end of the night they were still gone.... I wasn't going to go home empty shoed! Hence I took the other pair that were not mine...

These are them. Mine do not have buckles and I kinda like mine better.... but at least I still got shoes!

I Love Today

Its 3:50pm and today is turning out to be one of my favorite days ever. I am experiencing so many things that I love. I just feel so good! I took note of everything that I loved today so far.

First of all its super warm. 15C!!! It feels like heaven
I got go drive my parents to the airport, and i love the airport
Then i got to drive home and the sun was shining on me it felt so good
There were so many fun puddles to drive through
I was listening to my sweet CD that i haven't listened to in a long time... Good old Cascada, Crash Test Dummies, Stephen Speaks.. ahh
I was singing in the car and didn't care if people were looking at me
I think the warmth just made me feel all good and fuzzy inside
My hands smelt like summer
It sounded like summer outside
I got to roll down the window
I wore my CAPRI sweat pants

It better not get cold again or i think i will slip into depression.. just kidding, but i really hope this lasts forever!!!

Hockey Night

I went to the Flames game last night! It was super sweet! Theo has had free tickets a lot but i have never been able to go.... but finally it happened! The game was against Phoenix and we beat them 5-2!! So it was awesome. Its so cool to be there where everyone is crazy cheering and stuff. I haven't been to a game since i was really little.

The Mall Escapade

I never have anything to blog. But I went on an adventure yesterday and finally took pictures! So therefore i feel the need to blog it haha.

Superbowl Commercials

I have been hearing all about how the superbowl commercials are super funny, but we dont get them in Canada... So I ended up watching some on the internet and they are pretty good id have to say. They should make all commericals like this. I really like "Moon Office" and "Not what it seems". Haha Fed Ex is funny. Anyway i just thought I would share that with you if you havent already checked them out. They will make you smile :)

The Trip

Im back and here is how sweet the trip was.

Once we got to Vegas and were looking around, we decided to check out the prices for the sweet hotels on the strip. They happened to be pretty much the same price as the other not so sweet ones , so we stayed at the Excalibur, which is a castle! It was pretty neat!

We went to the Rick Thomas magic show which was so good! But it was made even better becuase Caleb got to go on stage!!! It was sooooo Funny!

We then drove to Phoenix which was a beautiful drive! And i enjoyed my time there even more. One day of Vegas is enough for me. There are just too many casinos that smell like smoke! It was irritating, but cool to see. I did alot of shopping in Phoenix. I dont know if i have ever bought that much stuff at one time haha. They had my favorite store there. Forever 21! I was so excited and i found so many things i love. So that was my Christmas present becuase i just got money for Christmas. It was alot of fun to spend time with the Heinrichs and get to know them better. Phoenix is such a beautiful city! It reminds me of Calgary. So i like it there :) The weather was awesome too! Not too hot, but not too cold. It was depressing coming home to -20C weather! I hate winter!

On the Saturday me and Nikki and Dad and Neil got to go to the Mesa Arizona Temple to do baptisms. It was really neat to see another temple.

The trip was great, I wish i was still there....

Unforgetable 2006!

As i was thinking about all that has transpired throughout this year, i am amazed at how much has happened this year compared to other years! I definitely wont forget 2006 thats for sure! Its a year to remember for me :)

Some significant moments are:

1) My 18th Birthday!

2) Diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis. This has definitely been my focus for the year. I have been working real hard on figuring out ways to help me feel better. Some things work, some things don't. I am still trying to figure out what my body will respond to without having to go on drugs. I have learned to live with it for now, and hopefully soon i will be able to overcome it.

3) High School Graduation!! I waited my whole life for that day. Im so happy im done high school, it feels so good! Now i have to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. That will be interesting..

4) Hawaii!!!! I got to go to Hawaii for the first time ever for 6 weeks. I stayed with my Grandparents at the BYU campus while they are there on a mission. It was so beautiful there, and an amazing experience ill never forget. I learned so much from my Grandparents and realized how much i love my family, because i missed them so much!!

5) Josh's Wedding- He got married on September 15 to Nicole. It was a great time. They are doing well and are really happy.

6)I discovered the 100 hour board.
7)Most everyone of my friends left on Missions!
8)I am now leaving to go to the airport heading to Las Vegas/ Phoenix! We will see how this trip turns out :)

There have been so many changes and adjustments I have had to make this year. It has been a real learning experience and I am thankful for it. :)

Jumping on the Bandwagon

Well i guess its about time i start a blog! Im somewhat excited, i just hope i have enough interesting things to even post! We will see :)

I'll start with today... It has been one of the busiest days in a while. I got up to go to the Doctor, and then I went to the mall after for a quick shopping experience and then i went to go see Caleb's school play, " A Mid Summer Nights Dream" by Shakesphere, it was pretty cute. And then, i went to work! I feels like alot of stuff!
I am done all of my Christmas shopping finally, which is nice, no more worries. At work i was also working on converting our Family Home Videos from VHS to DVD. So im setting all the chapters and such. Its really fun because i get to watch all our videos in order which i never really have done, so its neat. Today i got to watch Laura ride her bicycle into a car twice. haha is pretty cute. I wish i had a link or something..

Anyways, ill try to keep posting things about my super exciting life... rather.... ill try to make posts that make my life look more interesting than it really is! hehe
